Winter is in the air, and your students will love this "COOL" parts of speech activity!

Use this fun winter-themed Mad Libs activity to help your students learn or review nouns, verbs, and adjectives. You could use it as a fun activity, as morning work, as center work, or as a special treat! Any way you use it, your students will be sure to be giggling - AND practicing their parts of speech!

This product contains two “mad lib” style activities with a winter theme. The two stories do not mention any holidays! They are appropriate for all ages and recommended for 3rd - 5th.

2 Formats Offered:*

☮ Recording sheet included on the mad lib
☮ Recording sheet separate from the mad lib – 3 on a page to save paper
*Both formats are offered in color and black and white

In addition, you will also receive:
☮ Noun, verb, and adjective anchor chart or cards in color and black and white

Depending on your students, these activities would be great to do as a whole-class activity, partner practice, or individual work.

There are so many extension activities you could do with these! After making your silly stories, try having your students fill in good, grade-level appropriate vocabulary words that actually make sense!
