    Description

    Teach your students to write descriptive and engaging writing leads AND conclusions with these scaffolded anchor charts! This resource has 20 popular writing hooks and 16 creative conclusions that students can use to enhance the beginnings and endings of their narrative and informational writing. Each anchor chart states the name of the “writing hook” or “conclusion type” and gives examples as a guide to help students produce their own. 

    These posters come small enough to fit into student notebooks, taking up only 2-3 pages in your students’ notebooks. They also come in a standard paper size to hang onto your wall or to make a classroom reference book. Blank charts are included to create additional hooks/conclusions or student-made examples.
