    Description

Use these task cards to guide students through the revision of their narrative, argumentative, and literary analysis (informative and explanatory) writing. Students revise for ideas, organization, word choice, voice, sentence fluency, standard English conventions, presentation, and academic integrity (argument and literary analysis only). Revision is often one of the most challenging steps in the writing process, but these task cards make the task interactive, collaborative, differentiated, and reflective.

Depending on how you choose to implement them, these task cards can be used for modeling with exemplars, working with partners, working in small groups, rotating through learning stations, and revising individual essays. Furthermore, you can create your own questions and activities with the blank task cards template.

There are 164 questions on the task cards, and they feature images of student writers. Furthermore, there are response sheets, reflection handouts, and proofreading checklists.
