You can use a variety of techniques and art materials to make the Mushrooms! I'll show you 3 different ideas for art projects and photos you can use with students.
This lesson is perfect to use after reading the book, Yayoi Kusama: From Here to Infinity, by Sarah Suzuki, (MOMA).
You can also learn about Kusama from the Yayoi Kusama Museum in Japan. They even have a kids guide that introduces Kusama. Ask students to describe the colors and patterns in her art.
