Zoo Animal Research Unit for Kindergarten or First Grade with Google Slides

This is a zoo animal research unit that is perfect for kindergarten or first grade! It includes a paper version, plus a digital version for Google Slides.

This research unit is super fun and engaging. It would be perfect to use this unit before or after a class trip to the zoo, or anytime!

This unit covers eight common zoo animals; the tiger, lion, elephant, giraffe, hippo, gorilla, flamingo and zebra.

For each animal, I have included a fact sheet with interesting facts and a photo of the animal. Then there are several activities to go with each. The activities are simple, yet challenging enough to get the children thinking. The different activities make this unit super easy to differentiate for different learners.

This is a great unit for kindergarten or first grade, they love to research and learn new facts about animals, you will be surprised how much your class will know about the animals at the end of the unit!
