TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching 4th grade math, science, and social studies in Crofton, Maryland. I previously taught 2nd grade for three years in Salisbury, Maryland. I am passionate about all things education and run a YouTube channel centered around my daily life in the classroom!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I personally believe that if I am not excited to teach a lesson, I can't expect my students to be excited to learn it. I love to make learning interactive and relevant to my students through the use of real-world concepts and engaging activities.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

While I have only been teaching for three years, I was nominated for Teacher of the Year both my second and third year of teaching.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics from Salisbury University in 2014. I am currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Applied Technology in Education from Wilmington University.
