The Giver Jeopardy Review Game for Smartboard
This is a Jeopardy review game for Lois Lowry's novel The Giver. The game is formatted using Smart Notebook and is made to be used with the Smartboard. All of the categories are pre-linked to each question slide, and each question slide is linked back to the questions, making it easy and quick to navigate in class. This game can be used as a REVIEW GAME at the end of a novel unit on Tuck Everlasting. After answering questions correctly, students (or teams) will spin the spinner to see how many points they earn. Game focuses on examples of dialect, allusion, simile, metaphor, and slang (Common Core State Standards 4 and 5 for Reading Literature) found in the short story by Toni Cade Bambara.
