Duck for President: citizenship, importance of voting
At the preschool age, children begin to understand the concepts of justice and fairness and begin to learn about what is “right” and “wrong”, or “good” and “bad”. This lesson uses the popular story book, "Duck for President" by Doreen Cronin to help illustrate the value of citizenship, and the importance of voting. The lesson includes an overview of the story book, discussion questions, and a fun activity to help preschoolers learn the values supported by parents.
