As a teacher/librarian, I taught my students that Google is a search engine- it leads you to other resources and it is up to you to decide which of those resources are best for information. Many students would want to pull the little summary from the google first page and call that their research. I shared that many times that is from Wikipedia and it is up to the reader to compare the information in that blurb to other information they found in other resources.
