Multiplication Fact and Addition Fact Baseball

Fact baseball is a fun way to practice mental computation for addition or multiplication, and the basic rules are easy to learn. My students beg to play this game all the time! The game can be played using 6 or 10-sided dice and bingo chips or other counters. Playing an entire season of games would be perfect for keeping records for statistics and probability. This activity is best used with small groups (like Title I math) with 4 to 6 kids playing at a time.

This is a simple recording chart for tallying. We use it to count our earned behavior tickets for the whole class and then we total the amounts at the end. You can turn this into a data table and use it for graphing practice. The children love running up to the board and marking it. We have prize points set up for certain amounts of tickets earned which encourages children to add on the spot from week to week to see how many tickets they have in all as well as figure out how many tickets they wi

Rolling and recording the number rolled from the dice will hel
