Description
This error analysis activity will make your students really think about the rules of exponents. Students identify incorrect statements when presented with expressions with exponents and their simplified forms. Students are then asked to fix each error.
On each card there are 2 expressions and 3 statements about missing exponents in the simplified forms. Students need to figure out which of the 3 statements is false (the "lie"), then correct the false statement on their answer sheet.
