2nd Grade NGSS Physical Science COMPLETE STEM Curriculum Unit Bundle!! (2-PS1)

This unit is a comprehensive STEM curriculum that covers ALL of the Next Generation physical science and engineering standards (NGSS- 2-PS1-1, 2-PS1-2, 2-PS1-3, 2-PS1-4) for 2nd grade and also has built in technology integration options, math application opportunities, and an integrated literacy component in EVERY lesson. Throughout this unit students will be actively engaged in fun, interactive, hands-on, inquiry based learning through student-led activities.

These lessons were created and compiled through a backwards design format where the NGSS and CCSS literacy and math standards are focus point of the unit and each lessons helps lead students to a real understanding of the standards. Not only will students be gaining a solid understanding of the NGSS core ideas but an opportunity to practice and develop their science and engineering practices. Each lesson has a literacy component already integrated into it, which helps students improve their core content areas. This unit also provides technology integration pieces that help students develop and foster their technology skills.
