-Answer Keys are provided. Each individual standard is listed on the answer keys, which makes it super-easy to tally which standards the students have mastered.
Literary questions include major and minor events, characterization, inferences, citing evidence, genre, theme, setting, point of view, vocabulary, figurative language, and more.
Informational text questions include inferences, citing evidence, author’s purpose and perspective, central or main idea, vocabulary, key details, compare and contrast, author’s claim, type of structure, and more.
Why am I qualified to write these test prep questions that align with the new standards? Not only have I worked as a Language Arts Teacher for 30 years with a Highly Qualified Status, but I also have spent the last 15 years writing state and national assessments, such as the SATs, ACTs, and individual state assessments, like the FSA, that align with each state's standards. This includes grading, item writing, and passage writing for these assessments.
