This FUN and ENGAGING Spiral REVIEW Relay Race Review Game will have your students SO involved!! There are 24 question cards that teams of students have to work on to prepare for the 7th grade Math STAAR Test. This is a great way to get students working in teams and collaborating. An answer key is included. The rules are listed below!
This is also a great End of The Year Activity.
Before the Race:
Print and cut the questions out for each team (I suggest printing each team’s questions on different colored paper to make your life easier)
Relay Race Rules:
Split class into 2-4 teams
Have one person from each team come up to the teacher and grab their first problem
That student will race back to their team to solve the problem, when they have an answer a NEW TEAM MEMBER will race back to the teacher to tell them the answer
If students get the question correct, teacher will provide them with their next question. If students get the question incorrect, teacher will tell them to go back to their team and try again
