Description

Getting students to school is the first step in them having successful school careers! This is an awesome 8-week group counseling unit aimed to help students identify why they are not attending school, how they can overcome these barriers, and understand how truly important school is for their future success. This unit includes:
*8 lessons plans aligned with ASCA standards addressing attendance issues in school

*10 interactive, fun worksheets correlating to each lesson plan

*A pre/post survey for students to take before the first lesson and after the last lesson

*A parent permission slip describing the group

*An individual attendance tracker for each student

*Prize lists correlating to how many days attended

Each of these lessons can also be adapted for whole class instruction for a teacher or counselor.
