Description

This flipchart reviews elements of all fiction genres in an interactive way with revealers and moving shapes to reveal answers. It then focuses on the fantasy genre and elements of fantasy and leads into finding the theme and structure of fantasy stories. It is laid out with 14 days of mini-lessons, plans, activities. Days are listed on each page for easy navigation through curriculum. This will work great for 4, 5, or 6th grades. It was made for my fifth grade team. Includes CC objectives of finding theme, summarizing, elements of fantasy, story structure. RL5.2 and RL5.5. It has 64 slides. Video links to click on and show your kids movie clips to illustrate elements and theme! Read alouds of stories from online sources! Includes clips from the movie ET and read aloud of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and graphic organizers.
