Description
This 10 page mini booklet will complement your unit study on basic BEGINNING addition skills and addition story problems! Your students will gain practice with a variety of addition strategies such as "hopping up" on the number line, 10 frame images, draw a picture, count up, and write an equation. These story problems engage students by using characters and names they are familiar with--like a problem in which students have to figure out how many jars of marmalade Paddington has in all, or another that has students figuring out how many buttons are on Buzz Lightyear's suit!
