    Description

    Included in this bundle are 4 pennant activities covering slope, domain and range, eolving equations (variables on both sides) and factoring quadratic trinomials. There are 80 pennants included in this bundle. You can read more about each pennant activity below.

    The following pennants are included in this bundle:

    Factoring Pennant

    In this collaborative factoring activity, students factor quadratic trinomials (all with A=1) on each of 20 pennants. Each pennant has a QR code for quick answer checking (a traditional answer key is also included as well as a set of pennants without QR codes). Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to factor!"

    Included are 20 pennants with quadratic trinomials to factor and 1 title pennant. Each group of students can be given a set of pennants, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the pennants. Groups can compete to see which group can complete the most pennants or your entire class can add pennants to one string as they complete each one. You may also choose to have your students color their pennants to add to your classroom decor.

    Solving Equations Pennant {multi-step}

    In this collaborative solving equations activity, students solve equations with variables on both sides of the equal sign on each of 20 pennants. Each pennant has a QR code for quick answer checking (a traditional answer key is also included as well as a set of pennants without QR codes). Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to solve equations!"

    Included are 20 pennants with equations that have variables on both sides and 1 title pennant.

    Slope Pennant

    In this collaborative slope activity, students find the slope shown in tables, graphs, equations and coordinate pairs on each of 20 pennants. Each pennant has a QR code for quick answer checking (a traditional answer key is also included as well as a set of pennants without QR codes). Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know Slope!"

    Included are 20 pennants with slope problems and 1 title pennant.

    Domain and Range Pennant

    In this collaborative domain and range activity, students find domain and range of graphs, scatter plots, tables, coordinate pairs and mappings on each of 20 pennants. The pennants vary in difficulty making it easy to differentiate. Each pennant has a QR code for quick answer checking (a traditional answer key is also included as well as a set of pennants without QR codes). Once a pennant is complete, it can be hung along a string in your classroom to show the world that, "Hey, we know how to find domain and range!"

    Also included are 2 optional student answer sheets (1 is for the domain and range of the relation on each pennant, the other is for an additional "function or not? activity where students state if each pennant shows a function or not). Once all pennants are hung in your classroom students can use this second answer sheet during a gallery walk to determine whether or not each relation is a function. An answer key is also included.

    Included are 20 pennants with graphs (7), scatter plots (3), tables (5), coordinate pairs (3) and mappings (2) and 1 title pennant.
