What educators are saying

My students really enjoyed the passages. They were just right for them and they were able to build their fluency with reading.
My students love using mirrors and making their mouths looks like the pictures. They have been extremely helpful with my language learners to assist with mouth placement.

Get this resource as part of a bundle too:

Included in this download:

Show your students photos of how to make the sounds with these great photo cards.

Provided in two ways:

1. A-Z (Q and X are a combination of w sounds).

2. All 44 English phonemes.

Photos are of diverse kindergarten students.

Cards are full color and size 7.2 by 4.7 in size. Cards are nice and big so you can display them while you instruct. We give them to you where they can print two to a page and one to a page (which are nice to display digitally).

They may be too big to post on the wall using all of them, but we have other options in our Sound Wall Bundle here.

Each card also includes notes in the border with characteristics of that sound. For example /d/ says "LIKE DOG, CONSONANT, STOP, VOICED"

Teacher Reviews:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "This resource is exactly what I was looking for. I was planning to make my own but after seeing these, there was no need. The cards are perfect for my students to show how phonemes are formed in their mouth. I also like that they included teacher prompts for key words. Great purchase!"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I used these to see if my kiddos could tell just by the cards what letter sounds and they DID it! I was so excited. Now they quiz each other and I take the current letter we are studying by the door so they can recites it as they walk out. (M says mmm)"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Love these! I love using these in small group and large group instruction to show students the correct formation of letter names and sounds, especially when we are in person and wearing masks! I'm even thinking about using these to make like an interactive journal with these for students that are really struggling with certain letter sounds, they can work with their interactive journal version at home or in centers. i wish we had something like these years ago! Thank you for making these!"
