What educators are saying

I love this resource so much. I have a new interactive board in my classroom so using these slides to go over each group was very helpful and engaging to my students. Thank you!
This resource was WAY better than what was included in our curriculum!! My students loved all of the bright photographs and I appreciated the detailed information on each group. My students really enjoyed this resource and wanted more animals to classify at the end!

Description

Kick off a classification topic with this colorful and engaging Google Slides presentation. This resource will introduce the 5 vertebrate animal groups to younger students - fish, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds. The features of each group are clearly outlined, with photographs of different species.

There are 40 slides in total, designed to be used over 1 or several lessons. It ends with a short quiz to re-cap knowledge.

Is this resource editable?

The headings and images are not editable. Most of the text boxes are editable (except on a few slides where I have used clip art that does not allow this).
