This author's purpose bundle is designed to teach students about an author's purpose for writing a literary piece in a way that will keep them engaged. This bundle has everything you need to teach your students about the THREE categories of author's purpose. The PIE acronym is used throughout these resources; students will determine whether the author's purpose is to persuade, inform, or entertain.

The activities in this bundle make learning about author's purpose fun and easy!
