Behavior Support | LARGE Dinosaur Token Board, Reward Chart, Token Economy

Token boards and reward charts are a tool used to motivate students to complete schoolwork or challenging tasks. All students can benefit from these visual supports, especially students with autism, special education services, and children in early childhood education.

At HOME:

• Promotes motivation to complete undesirable tasks. Hang a board in your child’s room to reward completion of chores. Deliver tokens after each chore is completed.
• Hang one in the bathroom while toilet training. Deliver tokens for each successful use of the potty.
• Keep one by your child’s work area where schoolwork is completed. Deliver a token for each assignment, or when work is finished. You decide!
• Token boards provide a visual of progress for both parent and child.

In the CLASSROOM:

• Use token boards as a group reinforcer for the whole class. Hang the board in the front of the room and deliver tokens after desired behaviors are observed (following directions as a class, completing work as a class).
• Use the large boards (full page) to motivate your class to stay on task and promote desired classroom behaviors.

The fun theme provides extra motivation too! Tokens can be earned when desired behaviors are observed, or as an assigned task is completed. When all tokens are received, reward is earned.
