Description
I conducted this research project with my third grade class, and they loved it! Each student picked a topic (a biome and an animal) and then filled out the research guide with facts they found. They then used their research to guide them into writing a three paragraph essay with Bibliography and Cover Page. This includes a descriptive "Bibliography Guide" to assist.
This project reinforces text dependent questions, citing sources, and structured writing. It' also incorporates Science and Social Studies in the deep exploration of ecosystems. Plus, it's fun!
