Introduce students to the 3 branches of government using a gallery walk of historical images. As students view the image sets, they will answer 1-3 questions for each --reflecting on the duties & powers of the branches, as well as the checks & balances in our federal government.

I use this gallery walk in my Civics & U.S. Government course with 10th graders. I use the gallery walk to introduce the branches of government & their responsibilities.
