Looking for a fun way to review and practice magic e or silent e with your students? Here is a FUN and easy board game with word puzzles for students to play with a partner. This is ideal for literacy centers, phonics centers, or to add to your phonemic awareness routine. There are two board game options available in the download 1) with words and pictures 2) with ONLY pictures. Use either based o your students needs.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE:

Cut out the arrow and use a brad pin to attach it to the spinner OR have your students use a paper clip and pencil with the spinner.

HOW TO PLAY:

Place game pieces on start. Player 1 spins the spinner and finds the next picture on the path with that long vowel sound. For example, if the player spins and lands on a_e, they will move to the next space with a picture that is spelled using a_e. Player 2’s goes next. First player to the finish line WINS!
