Description

Introduce and reinforce the elements of character and setting to students using this worksheet and puzzle resources. The worksheet focuses on character and setting and allows students to draw inferences on the setting. The setting puzzles reinforce clues used to determine setting (focusing on the 'where'). The character trait puzzles get students thinking about complex characters - great to use in a center!

Included in the PDF file:

-directions and sample photo

-character trait puzzles to 'build a character'

-setting puzzles to match clues to the setting

-worksheet with 8 mini-stories

-bonus inference worksheet: infer the occupation
