Julia and her family are preparing to make Rosca de Reyes and your students will help her make it by solving 6 breakout codes while learning about different traditions in Spanish countries. This breakout room is completely in English and teaches about Las Posadas, Misa del Gallo, Tió de Nadal, Poinsettia, El Día de Reyes, and Traditions in Venezuela. 

Students will read about traditions in Spanish speaking countries in English and answer comprehension questions, fill in the blank, finish the sentence, Q&A matching, picture /description matching, sentence ordering, and use an emoji decoder to figure out each breakout code.

There are 6 breakout codes students must figure out by completing different tasks on Google Slides and transferring their answers on the Google Forms.

This is a digital resource for Google Forms and Google Slides. NOTE: Please make sure your administration allows outside links via Google Slides. There are Google slides links to force a copy for each breakout code. Students will not be able to access these slides if school administration does not allow outside Google Slides links.
