What educators are saying

Resource is created with solid visuals and information that keeps one's attention. I found it very useful.
My 4th graders enjoyed learning about finanaces for social studies and this tool was a great learning experience for them.

Description

Dear fabulous teachers,

Receive respect, motivation, and focus in your classroom- all while teaching financial planning! My Incentive Checkbook System is just like a regular bank account and helps students remember that good work, effort, and awesome behavior are often rewarded and noticed. I created this program for my own classroom when I realized verbal reinforcement was just not enough for all of my learners.

How it Works:

Each student begins the quarter, semester, or year with a checkbook that they create, using this packet. As you recognize good behavior, you hand out checks to those who are well-behaved students. Automatically, students around them notice the positive reinforcement and step up to the challenge. “Money” is not just rewarded with small trinkets or gifts, but mainly with quality time with the teacher, or time helping other students- the rewards are completely up to YOU! :) The denominations are also up to you, so you can differentiate this program for any age and math level.

Kiddos are given the opportunity to see how their positive behavior is rewarded with attention and love. Students are responsible for their own checkbooks, checks, and balances, teaching financial responsibility and keeping your life simple!

Keeping your life EASY!:

This system can be manipulated to work any way you would like! See the tips page for extra help and advice

You will quickly see a classroom full of hard working and engaging learners in no time! Teach financial responsibility to your kiddos!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have before purchasing! Learn more about how to use the program at my blog, Classroom Economy with Checkbooks
