Description
When I begin with a tutoring client, no matter the age or skill of the student, I give an evaluation of phonological and phonemic awareness. Since Orton-Gillingham is not a curriculum, I do not have any materials or evaluations I have purchased. I have completed an exhaustive search online, looking for an evaluation tool of phonological and phonemic assessment, and I found many versions of the same test during my search, all free to download. One evaluation tool, the Phonological Awareness Skills Test (PAST), stood out, and it has become my favorite evaluation of phonological awareness.
In this product I have provided a complete set of the best versions of the PAST I have found; I have done the search for you! I found not found the PAST available for sale at all; nor have I found one official version of the PAST. Through my online searches, I have whittled down the available documents and collected what I think are the best explanations and versions of the test and scoring guidelines. I am providing some teacher-friendly documents I have made for myself that help me in administering and scoring the PAST. Basically, this product saves you time in searching and downloading a free tool, and this product also provides explanations in detail for the administration of the test with task cards that I made myself.

Syllable blending
