What educators are saying

This craft is a great resource to use with our Westward Expansion unit. The students loved it and were able to complete it without a lot of help!
This is an awesome resource. A parent of mine made the covers with fabric. The kids loved this project and they looked great for Open House.

Description

This craft includes templates to create the covered wagon pictured in the photo as well as alternative templates that allow you to add your own wood-grain finish to the wagon body, fabric look to the bonnet, and a choice of wheels for a unique result.

This covered wagon craft is a nice addition to a unit on Pioneers, Early America, Westward Expansion, Wild West, Native American Studies, Transportation, or US History.

Skills include scissoring, coloring, gluing, and small motor (inserting the brad).
