Deaf Identity Powerpoint

This brief presentation was made by myself (a CODA- Child of Deaf Adults & ToD-Teacher of the Deaf) to introduce my deaf students to the idea of what a Deaf identity could possibly mean for them. The powerpoint includes art by people within the Deaf Community and videos of d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing people sharing their experiences in society. This presentation may also be helpful for parents who are new to the idea of Deaf Culture as well as administrators with d/Deaf students in their schools. The last slide includes a bibliography of sources I used to create this lesson.
