Inside are 3 flip books showing place value in the thousandths through base 10 blocks representation, verbal representation and numerical representation of the digits.
The flip books are easy to assemble with a pair of scissors and a staple. The pages from each flip book all print on one piece of paper. You can print all 3 or just print what you need.
Includes both color and black & white (shown in photos) versions.
The flip books were made to work together with addition and subtraction. Solving mats are included for this. For example, students will see that:
- 2.345 + 1.234 = 3.579
- 3.579 - 2.345 = 1.234
- 3.679 - 1.234 = 2.345
This way students can build their number sense related to decimal addition and subtraction while working with place value!
