Description

Students divide multi-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers in this fun math activity that doubles as festive classroom décor. There is plenty of space on each ornament for students to choose their division method or to practice a specific division method (long division, partial quotients, etc.) Division problems include:

  • 3 digit / 1 digit without remainders
  • 4 digit / 1 digit without remainders
  • 4 digit / 1 digit with remainders

There are also 4 blank ornaments to make your own division problems.

Included are 34 ornaments, an optional student answer sheet and an answer key. 30 of the ornaments have division problems already printed on them, 4 are blank for your own problems. Each group of students can be given a set of ornaments, scissors and either glue, tape or a stapler. Students can be in charge of cutting out the ornaments. You may also choose to have your students color their ornaments to add to your classroom décor.
