Description

Students match 20 cards of graphs, scatter plots, sets of coordinates, mappings and tables to cutouts of each relation's correct domain and range in this activity. Once all cards are matched, students can also sort their cards into "function" or "not a function" and record their answers on the included answer sheet. An answer key that is identical to the student answer sheet is included for easy grading.

This download includes both a printable and digital version of the activity. The digital version is on GOOGLE Slides. There are 4 cards and 5 domain/range slips per slide. Once all slips are matched with their cards, there will be one slip left over.

**Domains and ranges are written in inequalities. For the same activity in interval notation, please see Domain and Range Matching Activity. Full answer key included. Includes both print + interactive digital versions

Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is the set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.
Understand that a function from one set (called the domain) to another set (called the range) assigns to each element of the domain exactly one element of the range. If 𝘧 is a function and 𝘹 is an element of its domain, then 𝘧(𝘹) denotes the output of 𝘧 corresponding to the input 𝘹. The graph of 𝘧 is the graph of the equation 𝘺 = 𝘧(𝘹).
