Description
Use this student friendly rubric to write comments when you are conferencing with students and/or sending essays home to parents. It has space to write a glow (what they are doing well) and a grow (what they need to work on). In the middle column, you can also put a check in the check boxes to mark what elements they have in their essay, or highlight /circle the parts that they still need to work on. There are two separate boxes for organization/ideas and conventions. There is one that matches my ECR planners and another one that is more simplified. There is also an SCR student friendly rubric included. You can print two to a page and staple to their SCR when grading, conferencing, etc. This is a PDF file that you can print in color or black and white.
