How do Humans Cause Changes to the Environment? This unit includes Lesson Plans, Text Features Page, 9- Choice Board Activities, Persuasive Writing, Grammar Exercise, and Multiple Vocabulary Activities. All materials included for S2E3 on how humans change the environment.

⭐️  Amazon Rainforest Activities WHAT’S INCLUDED:

Amazon Rainforest Activities are perfect for Spring and goes along great with Earth Day. This unit is aligned to 2nd grade Common Core standards but can be used in many grades. I have included The Great Kapok Tree printables that I use in Small Group Reading. Also included are all the materials needed for a Rainforest Animal Research Project. My students loved picking out their own animals for research in the media center. There are many student-friendly sites for research!

Afternoon on the Amazon is the PERFECT book for Spring and goes along great with Earth Day!! Afternoon on the Amazon is the 6th book in the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne. This unit is aligned to 2nd grade Common Core standards but can be used in many grades.

I have also included The Great Kapok Tree handouts that I use in Small Group Reading. The two books work great together. Additionally, I added the Rainforest Animal Research Project. My students loved picking out their own animals for research. All of these activities have been used in my classroom. The children simply love Jack and Annie!
