Description

10 editable PowerPoint slides to get Number Talks going in your math classroom! The focus of Number Talks is percentages of numbers. The first slides take things slow, asking for 10% of 50 and 20% of 50. The last slide asks students to find 40% of 350. You can edit all slides and add slides to fit the needs of your students.

*You can read about how I use Number Talks and these slides in my class in this blog post

The basics:

Students don't use pencils, paper or calculators.

Students give a silent thumbs up when they have figured out the problem (I use an index card that you can read about in the post linked above).

Students can choose to share out their answers and thinking to the class.
