Description

In this activity, students will be presented with eggs and chicks, each with a vibrant picture representing a word. Their mission? To help these chirpy chicks find their nests by matching them with the eggs that contain the corresponding beginning sounds.

How to Use:

  1. Spread out the nests, eggs, and chicks on a flat surface.
  2. Encourage students to examine the pictures on the eggs and chicks and identify the beginning sounds of each word.
  3. Once they've identified the beginning sounds, they can match each egg to its corresponding nest.
  4. Celebrate their success as they complete each set!

This activity requires very little prep! Simply print, laminate, cut and distribute to your students!
