What educators are saying

This resource was great, I ended up doing this at the end of the year to fill some time! They could work on this whenever they were finished. Some of the students could not remember what their favourite parts were so I had to scaffold a lot of this.
I used these as a template for my end of year memory books, the students filled out the pages and then we added some of their "proudest" work into the booklets.

Description

End the school year strong by creating a special keepsake end-of-year memory book with your students. Record memories and accomplishments from the year in a book that kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders create during their last weeks of school. Save time with this print-and-go memory book and end of the year fun packet!

⭐Come together as a class and discuss all the memories from the year. Have students create a memory book by filling in the pages you select. Each page focuses on only one theme, such as my classroom, my teacher, my top 10, etc.

There are two memory book cover options and multiple writing prompt pages, so you can select which works best for your kids. Alternatively, kids can create a digital memory book on Google Slides or in Powerpoint with the digital version.

The memory book was created with kindergarten, first grade, and second grade kids in mind. Create the memory books together as a community-builing wrap-up activity during your social-emotional learning block, morning meetings, small group lessons, partner activities, and counselor lessons!

What’s included in this print-and-go EOY Memory Book:

  • A variety of fun printable pages included - 10 in total
  • Two versions of the printable front cover
  • Google Slides version with colorful done-for-you slides that are ready with fillable boxes
  • Interactive PPT file to use with the digital slides

⭐Check out the PREVIEW to see an up-close look at the printable & digital memory book options and how to use.

Easy & Fun to Create:

  • Complete one page per day. Select the page that you will be working on, and then as a group, have students brainstorm a list of ideas for that page. This will help refresh students’ memories. Record or draw their ideas for them to refer to on an anchor chart.
  • Have kids use their pencils and a choice of coloring tools to complete their pages. Afterward, staple the pages together or use a binding machine to create the books.
  • Take a photo of each student to add to the front cover or have kids draw and color their own self-portraits.
