FULL YEAR THEATRE BUNDLE: Intro and Intermediate Drama

FULL YEAR of bell to bell lesson plans for your theatre department! Little to no prep, allowing you to teach. First semester focuses of theatre fundamentals and includes dozens of scripts, games, and activities! Second semester builds on those foundations and serves as a 2nd semester of intro OR for those of you fortunate enough to have a dedicated class for your serious theatre students.

It’s exhausting to filter through all the online acting exercises, scenes, and monologues. Benefit from my 15 years of trial and error. These are my most well-received games and activities with notes on how to avoid pitfalls and maximize engagement.

You’ll discover dozens of original, age-appropriate, gender neutral scenes that can be quickly assigned as well as carefully curated scripts that are ready to print (all duet assignments include at least one three-person option to account for odd numbers).

Each unit opens with a teacher-guided PowerPoint accompanied by easy-to-follow-notes to serve as your primary resource. This is followed by targeted activities, research, supplemental videos, worksheets, and performance opportunities.

All worksheets, notes, and PowerPoints are editable! All student interactive docs can also be used in your Google Classroom through EASEL.

In addition to sequencing material for the students, I sequenced the semester for you:

Approximately 20% of each unit is student-centered - keeping your classroom engaged with research, writing, rehearsing, or performing.  Also included are 2 “floating weeks” - this is an array of stand-alone, no-prep, student-centered, 1-2 day lessons that fit anywhere in the curriculum. For sub-days and when you need a break (i.e. tech week).
