What educators are saying

This is a great supportive resource to help students understand but have a little creative fun with it.
I used this as a review when teaching finding slope. The students were engaged enjoyed the coloring even when they thought they wouldn't.

Description

Students will solve 15 problems finding the slope of a line from a graph, given two points, and an equation in slope-intercept form. All four types of slope are included(positive, negative, undefined, and zero).

When they get their answer they will look at the bottom of the box. Whatever answer they got they will find on the coloring picture. The color at the bottom of each box with the matching answer is what they will color the coordinating section on the picture.

This resource includes:

  • Blank Worksheet with 15 problems
  • Coloring Page
  • Answer Key
  • Colored Example of end product

Options for using this resource:

This is a fun way to review Slope and provide a brain break by coloring a picture! This also makes a great substitute plans activity or a review!

Graph proportional relationships, interpreting the unit rate as the slope of the graph. Compare two different proportional relationships represented in different ways. For example, compare a distance-time graph to a distance-time equation to determine which of two moving objects has greater speed.
