First grade memories foldable activity for last week day of school
- Zip
Description
Celebrate your year together in first grade with these sweet animal foldouts. This fun, end-of-year activity will allow students to reflect on the school year and think about their highlights. They also make a cute keepsake for the last week of school.
The activity
Students color an animal before responding the the prompts on second part of the template.
The prompts are:
- My best memory
- My proudest moment
- Things I learned
- The best book I read
- My favorite subject
The prompts can be changed if needed (see below).
Children then cut out both parts of the template, then glue, and fold. A picture showing where to fold is included but you may wish to make an example to show students.
The template options
Children will need a ‘part a’ and a ‘part b’. For part a, there are 10 animals to choose from (dog, cat, owl, otter, whale, crocodile, koala, lion, tiger, toad).
Is this resource editable?
Although most of this PDF is not editable, you can switch out or amend the prompts on part b of the template. Editable text boxes are provided for this - just open the document in Adobe Reader on a desktop/laptop. The text boxes themselves can't be moved.
