Freeze Game - Pirate Dragon Unicorn Freeze - Interactive Movement and Printables

This freeze game is a fun large group game for subs or assemblies that will get your students up and moving. This awesome game (with printable flashcards!) is a great brain break and can be used as a movement activity for a double class when there are no subs!

Project the game on your Smart Board or use the printables when technology isn't working!

Need a fun game for your sub tub? This is one of my students' favorite Sub Tub activities!

My students beg for "that freeze game" and "the 3-2-1 freeze game" every single game day!

This game set includes flashcards, a version of the game to project on a whiteboard or screen, plus game instructions, ideas for each pose, and teaching suggestions.

This is a game that can be taught by any teacher - no prior musical knowledge is needed.

If you are a music teacher, there is a suggested instrumentation that can be used during class or assemblies, but is optional for game play.

If your students loved Reindeer Christmas Tree Candy Cane, they will love this pirate-themed version!

Special Note: This is not a freeze dance; it is a freeze game. It has been described as a group "Rock-Paper-Scissors" type game. No additional recordings are needed.

COVID-19 Note: All these freeze games can be played without singing (with or without a chant), and are non-touching and non-locomotor. This game can be played virtually as well! (Have students step away from the camera when they are "out.")
