What educators are saying

So many options to supplement a friendship lesson in this packet. Some of the activities are quick and easy to implement, others take more planning and supplies but both are useful.
My students loved this resource. I enjoyed the worksheet that went along with the lesson. Perfect for my K and 1st graders.

Description

This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson is for Kindergarten or early learners. Students observe a puppet demonstration and identify good friendship skills. Students have the opportunity to use puppet to demonstrate their own great friendship skills and complete and individual coloring activity to differentiate between good and not-so-good friendship skills.

Includes: lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), printable puppet friends if actual puppets are not available (adhere to popsicle sticks), handout, and objectives assessment checklist.

I use this lesson with Kindergarten, but it is appropriate for grades PreK-1.

This lesson is also included in my Kindergarten classroom guidance lesson bundle and ULTIMATE classroom guidance lesson bundle!
