Description

Gossip and Rumors Counseling Lesson - This classroom counseling lesson plan will help students in grades 4-6 understand what gossip and rumors are and how to positively address them. This lesson is intended for tier 1 whole class instruction for awareness surrounding gossip and rumors. Students will complete an experiential activity to discuss what it's like when stories are repeated that aren't accurate, review example scenarios, discuss the harm and impact of gossip, and practice demonstrating positive ways to deal with gossip and rumors.
