Description
In this fun board game, students learn about turning sour, fixed mindset thoughts into sweet, growth mindset words! Students travel around the board responding to cards on the following topics:
Reflection: reflect on times when they have had a fixed mindset in the past, how they felt, and what they could do differently in the future or times when they had a growth mindset and how they felt
Sour Situation: respond to situations that have the potential for a fixed mindset response with a growth mindset instead
Lemon or Lemonade?: read the statement on the card and decide if it is an example of a fixed or growth mindset
Lemonade: read a fixed mindset statement and reframe it into a growth mindset statement
Includes:
Game instructions
Game board (12x18 poster, 18x24 poster, and 22x25.5 self-print on 6 8.5x11 pages)
Game cards (18+ cards for each category plus 6 blank cards for create-your-own)
