What educators are saying

My students loved using this resource during our unit on habitats and lifecycles. They were able to research various animals and include lots of facts to demonstrate their comprehension
This resource was great! It was student friendly and my students loved it. I recommended to other teacher friends.

Description

This Best Selling Animals Habitat research packet leads learners on a project-based research adventure through various habitats (oceans, wetlands, swamps, grasslands, rainforests, and deserts). Students will work cooperatively to investigate habitats. This unit was also developed to allow students to take a more active role in their own learning. Most of the exploration and observations will take place by the students. The teacher will act as a guide and step in when needed, but most of the work will be done by the students.

This unit was created for the busy teacher who has a great deal of science to cover and not a lot of time. Students are exposed to cooperative learning and technology. Habitats can be taught in about a week, and kids finish this fascinating study, having learned all they need to know about Habitats while incorporating ELA standards into the content area. (If you have a class that has difficulty with collaborative learning or project-based research, you may need to do a more shared experience with more guidance from the teacher.)

Some pages are the same, with different habitat pictures to represent the habitat. This was done on purpose to provide consistent expectations for each team.
