Reading Circles offer another approach to novel study. Rather than study one novel as a whole class, students work in groups to study one of five different novels. Most work is done individually, and the circle is for discussion and presentation.

This Indigenous Studies Reading Circles Bundle contains five novels by five well-known and celebrated Indigenous authors. They are reliable guides and engaging storytellers on our toward truth and reconciliation.

The three components for evaluation are the completed questions, a 100 multiple-choice test, and the circle presentation.

In my English classes, I take delight in helping students go from a Swiss cheese to good Canadian or Wisconsin cheddar in their sentence smart knowledge. We work. We play. We laugh. We learn. We fill in the holes of their grammar understanding and produce an integrated field of knowledge, and awe for the noble English sentence.
