What educators are saying

Thank you so much for this product! It was so fun, and really helped my students fully grasp the concept of the year and how the Jewish calendar works- they have been struggling with this for little while! It was also great to have the extra worksheets!

Description

The Jewish Calendar Wheel is a coloring activity designed to help students visualize the connection between the Jewish and Gregorian calendars. By coloring, students can better understand why Jewish holiday dates, like Hanukkah, vary compared to the Gregorian calendar.

This activity is also a wonderful way for students to learn the names of the Hebrew months, as well as the annual cycle of Jewish holidays.

Once completed, parents can proudly display their child's calendar wheels on their refrigerators as useful reference tools for years to come. You can even turn them into magnets by laminating the front and attaching a magnet to the back.

You will receive two options to choose from: one set with the Hebrew months written in transliteration and another set with the Hebrew months in Hebrew text.

Contents

Set 1: Hebrew Months written with transliteration.

Set 2: Hebrew Months written with Hebrew Text.

In addition, you will receive two fun reinforcement worksheets. Please note that only transliteration editions of these worksheets are included.

Leap Years: An extra month of Adar is added in leap years. Therefore, the alignment of the calendar wheel will be slightly off in leap years.
