This Student Survey of Learning Styles and Learning Style Quiz focuses on the theory of multiple intelligences, and is a great for Back to School project - these learning styles activities teach students all about key learning types like auditory, visual, and kinesthetic, as well as right and left brain dominance. A learning styles assessment (with learning styles quiz and marking key) are included.

This package includes the following resources:

Learning Style Information: A page of information on each of the seven learning styles is included.

Learning Style Color By Code Comprehension: A color by code activity is included - students answer key questions about the different learning styles, and use their answers to help them color in a fun back to school image. Full instructions are included, as well as an answer key.

Learning Style Foldable: Two foldables are included, for students to record information on the seven different learning styles. All of the materials needed to construct the foldables are included.

Learning Styles Assessment - Quiz and Marking Key: A multi paged learning style survey and marking key is included. Students answer targeted true/false questions, and analyze the data to determine their personal learning style.

Learning Style Reflection Questions: After learning about their personal learning style, students answer some questions relating to how knowing such information can help them in their studies.

Learner Profile Worksheets: Two different worksheets relating to the learner profile are included. Students highlight statements that best describe themselves, and use that information to determine the qualities they possess as a learner. The learner profile information comes form the International Baccalaureate Program, but is valuable when applied to any classroom or learner.

Learning Style Visual Representation Activities: Two different versions of the activity are included. Students use the information they have learned about themselves as learners from completing the above assignments to create a classroom poster displaying their personal learning characteristics. For the first activity, students use an oval template and fill it with words, sentences, and images that best describe them as a learner. For the alternate version of the activity, students choose a blank student template and fill it it words, sentences, and images that best describe them as a learner. 15 different inclusive head templates are included. A writing piece to go along with the assignment is included. This is a great way to acknowledge student strengths, and they look great on the classroom wall. Left and Right Brain Dominance Quiz and Marking Key: A left and right brain dominance survey and marking key is included. Students answer targeted questions, and analyze the data to determine if they are left brain or right brain dominant (or both!)

Left and Right Brain Dominance Graphic Organizer: A fun graphic organizer is included for students to record key qualities about themselves that they have learned from the Left and Right Brain Dominance Quiz.

Left and Right Brain Dominance Reflection Questions: After learning about their dominant side of the brain, students answer some questions relating to how knowing such information can help them in their studies.
